Like the Phoenix metropolitan area, Scottsdale Emergency Associates has experienced tremendous growth in recent decades. SEA began in 1979 with five physicians providing services for one hospital and has grown to a group of over 50 providers serving three hospitals. All of our providers are residents of the Scottsdale area and therefore are not only the people caring for you in the emergency department but also your partners in the community. We believe that our model has and continues to allow us to recruit and retain the best providers in the nation and deliver the highest quality emergency medicine to Valley residents and visitors.

In 2015, joined EmCare, the nation’s leading practice management group for hospital-based physicians. As part of Envision Healthcare, SEA and EmCare are supported by the nation’s leading medical transportation company, American Medical Response, and by Evolution Health, a groundbreaking population health management company. Physician-led Envision Healthcare develops creative, customized healthcare solutions that leverage our vast provider network to address patient needs no matter where or when those needs occur.
